It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
