Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
