The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 and the scarers scaring 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
