And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
