▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
