Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
