Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say, "It is not in my power to cause you either harm or good?" 21 Say: "Verily, no one could ever protect me from God, nor could I ever find a place to hide from Him 22 excepting a Deliverance from God and His Messages. And whoso rebels against God and His messenger, for him there awaits the Fire of Gehenna; therein they shall dwell forever.' 23 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. 24 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I do not know whether what you are promised is close or if my Lord will postpone it for a while.” 25 He is the Knower of the Unseen, and He does not disclose His Unseen to anyone 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 That He may know that they have indeed conveyed the messages of their Lord. He surroundeth all their doings, and He keepeth count of all things. 28
