We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
