The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
