We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
