The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
