Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 An apostle from Allah rehearsing Writs cleansed. 2 Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. 3 The people of the Book were not divided among themselves till after the clear proof had come to them. 4 And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion. 5 The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters shall be for ever in the Fire of Gehenna (Hell). They are the worst of all creatures. 6 [And,] verily, those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds - it is they, they who are the best of all creatures. 7 Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. 8
