And we sent Moses, with Our Clear (Signs) and an authority manifest, 96 To Firon and his chiefs, but they followed the bidding of Firon, and Firon's bidding was not right-directing. 97 He will lead his people on the Day of Resurrection, therefore landing them into hell; and what a wretched place to land into! 98 They were pursued by a curse in this (deceiving life of this world) and (so they will be pursued by a curse) on the Day of Resurrection. How bad is the curse (in this world) pursued by another curse (in the Hereafter). 99 These are some of the news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped. 100 We did not wrong them; they wronged themselves. When your Lord's chastisement descended upon them, their gods, on whom they called apart from God, were not of the least avail, and all they did was only to add to their destruction. 101 Thus was the punishment of your Lord when He punished the unjust people of the towns. The punishment of your Lord is certainly severe. 102 In this surely is a sign for him who fears the torment of the Hereafter, the day when mankind will be assembled together, which will be a day when all things would become evident. 103 And We defer it only to a term already reckoned. 104 And when the appointed Day comes, no one shall even dare to speak except by the leave of Allah. Then some will be declared wretched, others blessed. 105 The wretched ones will be in the Fire sighing and groaning, 106 They shall abide in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure, unless your Lord may will otherwise. Surely your Lord does whatsoever He wills. 107 ۞ And those who are blessed shall be in the Garden: They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: a gift without break. 108 So O listener (followers of this Prophet), do not fall into doubt by what these disbelievers worship; they only worship just as their forefathers worshipped before; and indeed we shall pay them their due in full, undiminished. 109
