Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
