Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
