The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
