Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
