Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
