Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
