AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
