Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
