The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
