The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 the Merciful, the Most Merciful, 3 King of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
