(The tribe of) A'ad denied the messengers (of Allah). 123 When their brother Hud said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 124 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 125 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 126 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 127 What, do you build on every prominence a sign, sporting, 128 and raise strong mansions as if you were to live forever? 129 "And when you seize, seize you as tyrants? 130 So fear Allah, and obey me. 131 Keep your duty toward Him Who hath aided you with (the good things) that ye know, 132 amply provided you with flocks, and children, 133 “And with gardens and water-springs.” 134 indeed, I fear for you the torment of an awful day." 135 They said: It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach; 136 This is just a habit of antiquated people. 137 And we shall not be doomed. 138 So they cried him lies; then We destroyed them. Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 139 And verily thy Lord? He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 140

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
