We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
