Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
