SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
