And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 About their deeds. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
