Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is it timed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
