Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
