The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
