The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night when it covers the day, 1 and the day as it rises bright! 2 By Him Who hath created the male and the female, 3 That your endeavour is for different ends. 4 As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him, 5 And believes in the best [reward], 6 We shall facilitate for him the Way to Bliss. 7 But for those who are niggardly, horde their wealth, 8 And denied the best matter, 9 We shall facilitate for him the way to Hardship, 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 It is indeed for Us to show the way, 12 And lo! unto Us belong the latter portion and the former. 13 I have now warned you of the Blazing Fire, 14 [the fire] which none shall have to endure but that most hapless wretch 15 who gives the lie to the truth and turns away [from it]. 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue, 18 And no one has done a favour to him, for which he should be compensated. 19 He desires only to please his Lord, the Supreme. 20 He verily will be content. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
