The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
