Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
