The physical growth of those whom We grant a long life will be reversed. Will you then not understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 Whom We made subservient to them so that some of them they ride and some they eat? 72 They derive a variety of benefits and drinks from them. Will they, then, not give thanks? 73 And they have appointed Gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped! 74 They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned). 75 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says, 'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?' 78 (Muhammad), tell him, "He who gave them life in the first place will bring them back to life again. He has the best knowledge of all creatures. 79 He who produces for you fire out of the green tree, so that, lo! you kindle [your fires] therewith." 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned. 83
