The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent (God) 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He has created man: 3 and He has taught him the Explanation. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 And the herbs and the trees do prostrate (to Him). 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 In order that you may not transgress (due) balance. 8 And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths, 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 13 He has created man, from dry ringing clay, like the potter"s, 14 and He created the jinn of a smokeless fire. 15 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 16 Lord of the two easts and of the two wests is He. 17 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 18 He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together, 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 Which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 His are the ships, towering on the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
