AND WHEN the messengers [of God] came to the house of Lot, 61 He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). 62 They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. 63 We have come to thee with the truth, and assuredly we speak truly. 64 So travel with thy household in a portion of the night, and follow thou their backs. Let none of you turn round, but go whither ye are commanded. 65 We issued this command to him, for they were going to be destroyed in the morning. 66 The people of the town rejoicingly 67 and he told them, "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 and fear God, and do not degrade me.' 69 They replied: "Did we not forbid you again and again to extend hospitality to all and sundry?" 70 He said, "Here are my daughters, if you must act in this way." 71 Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro. 72 and the Cry seized them at the sunrise, 73 And We utterly confounded them, and We rained upon them stones of heated clay. 74 Surely in that are signs for such as mark; 75 Indeed, it is on a way which still exists. 76 Behold! in this is a sign for those who believed. 77 Certainly the dwellers in the Thicket were evildoers, 78 We therefore took revenge from them; and indeed both these townships are situated on an open road. 79

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
