THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
