Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
