The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
