Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
