Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 till, when Gog and Magog are unloosed, and they slide down out of every slope, 96 and nigh has drawn the true promise, and behold, the eyes of the unbelievers staring: 'Alas for us! We were heedless of this; 'nay, we were evildoers.' 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 Had they really been gods they would not have entered it: They will all abide in it for ever. 99 There they shall groan with anguish and the din and noise in Hell will not let them hear anything. 100 Those for whom the good (record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom. 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you." 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 And indeed We have written in Zabur (Psalms) [i.e. all the revealed Holy Books the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] after (We have already written in) Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (the Book, that is in the heaven with Allah), that My righteous slaves shall inherit the land (i.e. the land of Paradise). 105 Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah. 106 (Muhammad), We have sent you for no other reason but to be a mercy for mankind. 107 Say, "It has been revealed to me that your God is but One God. Will you then submit to Him?" 108 If they turn away, tell them, "I have warned every one of you equally. I do not know when the torment which you have to suffer will take place. 109 Indeed He knows what you say loudly and what you hide. 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 Say, "My Lord, judge with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious One whose help we seek against what you utter." 112
