Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 on a Straight Way, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
