۞ Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 53 Hence, turn towards your Sustainer [alone] and surrender yourselves unto Him ere the suffering [of death and resurrection] comes upon you, for then you will not be succoured. 54 And follow the best of that which hath been sent down unto you from your Lord there cometh on you torment of a sudden, while ye perceive not. 55 Lest a soul should say: "Alas, I was heedless of God and only laughed;" 56 Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous." 57 Or it should say when it sees the punishment: Were there only a returning for me, I should be of the doers of good. 58 (But now the answer will be): Nay, for My revelations came unto thee, but thou didst deny them and wast scornful and wast among the disbelievers. 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant? 60 But God will deliver them who feared Him to their place of salvation. No evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of everything, and He is over everything a Trustee. 62 He has the keys of the heavens and the earth; and those who deny the revelations of God will be losers. 63
