Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
