We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
