Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
