The assembly of Pharaoh's nation said: 'This man is a wellversed sorcerer 109 He intends to turn you out of your land. What counsel do you then give? 110 They said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while); and send to the cities men to collect- 111 to summon every wellversed sorcerer to you' 112 And the magicians came unto Fir'awn. They said: surely there is for us a reward if we are the overcomers. 113 He said, “Yes, and you will then become close to me.” 114 They said: "O Moses! wilt thou throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?" 115 He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic. 116 And We revealed to Moses: 'Cast thy staff!' And lo, it forthwith swallowed up their lying invention. 117 ۞ So the truth was established, and what they did became null. 118 Pharaoh and his men were defeated and utterly humiliated. 119 But the sorcerers fell down prostrate in adoration. 120 They said: We believe in the Lord of the worlds, 121 The Lord of Musa and Harun. 122 Said Pharaoh, "You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people. But you are going to know. 123 I shall cut off your hands and feet on the opposite sides, and then crucify you all.' 124 They said: verily unto our Lord we are turning. 125 “And what did you dislike in us, except that we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us? Our Lord! Pour (bestow abundantly) patience on us, and bestow us death as Muslims.” 126

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
