In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
