Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
